母親節花禮預購/Garden of Us 我們的花園
inspired by one of my most beautiful spring memories:
I still remember —
that spring afternoon, dreamy and sunlit after the rain,
when my mom said, “Let’s plant a garden together.”
I dug messy holes, got dirt all over my face,
but she let me lead—even when I was doing it all wrong.
She still made me the little captain of the garden,
and somehow made me feel like I was doing a great job.
Not long after, the garden bloomed—bright, loud, joyful,
like Holi in India, as if every flower was celebrating.
And for the first time, I felt something I’d later learn to call pride—
not in myself,
but in something we made together, hand in hand, side by side,
rooted in love that lifted me more than I knew.
Looking back, I realize I didn’t just learn how to plant flowers.
I learned patience, trust,
and how beauty can grow from mess.
That crooked row of marigolds? She called it charming.
The overwatered basil? “It just means you care too much.”
Even now, whenever I see flowers bloom, I think of her—
the way she saw beauty in every mistake,
the way she watered love without ever keeping score.
She didn’t just raise a child.
She raised a very handsome boy with a big, big heart.
And after all these years,
the boy bloomed—and now owns his very own flower shop (lol).
But most importantly,
she planted my heart.
Garden of Us 我們的花園
髒兮兮的手、五顏六色的花,還有她偷偷完成的大半個世界。我只記得我是花園隊長!開花那天陽光很好,然後我也跟著開花了。
dirty hands, bright flowers, shared pride.Looking back, I see now: she planted most of it on her own. And still, I bloomed.
